UK-based businesses may hire non-settled workers with the right to work in the UK. If you wish to hire a person who needs permission to work, you may consider sponsoring this individual. You will need a sponsorship licence which we will be happy to discuss with you and help you with the application.

Immigration advice
We offer ad hoc UK immigration advice for private individuals and businesses. An appointment can be booked online and you can choose the time you need with the lawyer depending on how many questions you have, whether the lawyer will need to read your papers before advising you and whether you want a quick answer to your question or a more in-depth discussion.
The consultation is held online via zoom and you can select the time convenient for you and notify us of the questions you wish to discuss in advance of the meeting.
UK spouse visa application, extension and settlement
Spouse visa is permission to live in the UK with your British partner. This permission is initially granted for 2.5 years and has to be extended for another stretch o 2.5 years. After five years of residence in this immigration category you will be eligible to apply for indefinite leave to remain in the UK and British citizenship.
To qualify for a UK spouse visa, you have to meet the following requirements:
- Relationship
- Financial requirements (income of at least £18,600 per year from an approved source with specified evidential requirements)
- Knowledge of English (A1 level)
- you may be required to take a TB test depending on your country of residence
The application can be quite daunting as a mistake can potentially result in the refusal of the application. If you are applying from the UK, the refusal may result in the loss of the right to work the requirement to leave the UK and reapply from abroad. If, for some reason, you are not meeting the financial requirement for the spouse visa, this may not be the end of the world, and our lawyers may be able to help you make a successful application based on exceptional circumstances.
